This year's Induction Banquet is scheduled for Monday, October 29.  The banquet will be held at the Airport Hilton in Alcoa.  The buffet line will open at 6:30 p.m. and the program will begin at 7:00 p.m.  We recommend attendees arrive about 15 minutes early to locate seating before dinner.  The attire is semi-formal.  This year's inductees are: Peggy Ballard, Steve Cobble, Wayne Dixon, Charles R. Headrick, Kenneth Hodson, Kelvin Richardson, Mike Stuart and Ron "Yogi" Wilson.  The 1961-62 Walland Girls Basketball and the 1961 Walland Football teams are also being recognized this year.  Tickets are $30 per person and will go on sale October 5.  Reservations are required and must be made through the Parks & Rec Administrative Office located at 316 S. Everett High Rd. in Maryville or by calling the office at 865-983-9244 after October 5. 

Nominations are currently being accepted for the Blount County Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2013. Nomination Forms (which may be obtained below under Nomination Process) should be submitted to the Maryville-Alcoa-Blount County Parks and Recreation office located at 316 South Everett High Road, Maryville, TN 37804 no later than March 1, 2013.
