SENIOR ADULT ACTIVITIES
The Everett Senior Center is a multi-purpose recreation center for adults over age 50 located at 702 Burchfield Street in Everett Park in Maryville. Office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM and Friday 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM. The center publishes a bi-monthly newsletter/calendar of activities, which is included in the annual membership fee of $15.00 per year for an individual or $25.00 per year per couple. Oil Painting with Barbara Goddard on Wednesday - 9:30 - Noon, starts Jan. 11 - Feb. 22 15 (NO Class on Feb. 15)
Computer Class
Computer Basics for Laptops
This 3 day course is designed for beginners with laptops, preferably running Windows 7 (nothing earlier than XP). You will need to bring your laptop to both classes as well as note paper and pen/pencil. Class will provide some handouts on common functions. Class size is limited so register early. Class will meet on Tues. & Thurs. Feb. 21, 23 & 28, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. Member cost is $30.00 and non-members $45.00.

THIS CLASS IS FULL.

CROCHET CLASS
Learn to crochet with Jone Trost. This class you will complete a scarf and learn basic stitches. Class meets on Tuesdays, 9:30 - 11:00 a.m., Jan. 10 - Feb. 21 (NO class on Feb. 14) You will need a crochet hook size G or H and yarn of your choice. Cost: $35.00

The first Thursday of each month enjoy Potluck and Bingo starts promptly at 11:30, bring your favorite dish to share.
AARP Blount County Chapter #2296 meets on the 4th Tuesday - monthly at Noon with meeting and light refreshments
Quilt Group meets each Tuesday, 12:00 - 3:30 p.m.
Wii Bowling Fall League bowls each Monday various times between 9:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.
Scrabble every Wednesday starts at 9:30 - Noon

MUSIC
Musicians and Singers Wanted!!! Join us for "Mid Week Music", next on Wednesday, Feb. 8, this monthly event for singers and musicians with acoustic instruments, sign in at 8:30 with performances to begin at 9:00 - 11:00 AM. Our MC will be Edward Harper of BMH Senior Services, assisting Edward is Beverly Sherrod. Spectators are also encouraged to attend this free event! Come out and enjoy a musical showcase featuring local hidden talent from right here in East Tennessee! This event is sponsored by BMH and Everett Senior Center. Light refreshments are served and sponsored by Terrie Ware with Aid and Assist at Home.
