This multi-purpose center has two meeting rooms, kitchen facilities, a computer lab with controlled internet access and Wi-Fi. A small meeting room also serves as a library with a variety of children’s books. There is also an outdoor playground, volleyball net, soccer goals, gaga ball pit, and basketball courts adjacent to the facility.

Facilities & Rental Fees

The following applies to the rental fees of our community/recreation centers:
A 2-hour minimum is required for most rentals.
Rules apply for decorations and heavy kitchen use/additional $25 cleaning fee may apply based on type of rental.
Leasee must pay a deposit of $40.00 at the time the reservation is made to secure the date of their desired rental, and the remaining balance is due at least three (3) business days prior to rental date.
⚬  Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than thirty (30) days in advance = 25% of deposit retained by Recreation and Parks.  Cancellations made less than fourteen (14) days in advance = 100% of deposit retained by Recreation and Parks.

MLK Living the Dream Enrichment and Afterschool Tutoring Program

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday 3:00-6:00 PM         Wednesday 3:00-5:00 PM

This program is available for Kindergarten through Grade 12 and offers computer lab and arts & crafts. Girls Inc. provides activities for girls GradesK-8 two days a week; Grades K-3 will meet on Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 PM and Grades4-8 on Thursdays, 4:00-5:00 PM.  Maryville College Bonners, Foster Grandparents, Office of Aging and Faithful volunteers also assist students with reading comprehensive, homework and school projects. Snacks provided.
Senior Program

Monday through Friday 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Recreational activities for seniors Age 55 & older including line dancing, yoga, arts & crafts, walking club, chair exercises, sports activities, educational classes, and more.
Youth Summer Day Camp

Summer Day Camps for Ages 6–12.  Activities include a Literacy program, computer lab, swimming, field trips, games, arts& crafts, and more!  Breakfast and lunch provided.  Children should dress comfortably and bring a water bottle each day.

June 1 – July 13, 2022     *No camp May 30-31, July 4-5, and July 14-15
9:00AM – 5:00 PM.

$40.00 per child per week
$25.00 for Weeks 1, 6 & 7 due to no camp on days noted above.*
Pre-registration and payment are required before the start of each week with limited space available.
