Senior Programs

The Everett Senior Center (ESC) is a multi-purpose recreation center for adults over Age 50 located at 702 Burchfield Street in Everett Park in Maryville.  Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM.  The center publishes a monthly newsletter/calendar of activities, which is included in the annual membership fee of $15.00 per year for an individual or $25.00 per year per couple (donation based).  A printable brochure and our current newsletter is available below for your convenience.  For more information you may call us at 983-9422.
The Center's Inclement Weather Policy: The Everett Senior Center will follow Maryville City Schools' schedule on inclement weather days.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Work on your own Scrapbooking and Paper Craft Projects – Mondays, 8:00 AM - 3:45 PM.

Quilt/Craft Group meets every Tuesday & Thursday 12:00-3:30 PM.  Bring your project and join the fun.

Knitting Group
meets every Tuesday & Thursday at 10:00 AM - Noon.   Knowledgeable and friendly group meets to sit and knit twice a week.

Oil Painting Classes with Barbara Goddard - Wednesdays, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Cost: $60.00/Members, $75.00/Non-members per 6-week session. Contact the Center at 983-9422 for class dates.

Watercolor Classes with Penny Reasor - Mondays, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Cost: $60.00/Members, $75.00/Non-members per 6-week session. Contact the Center at 983-9422 for class dates.

Drawing Classes with Yichen Reneau - Wednesdays, 9:00 AM - Noon. Cost: $60.00/Members,$75.00/Non-members per 5-week session. Contact the Center at 983-9422 for class dates.

Tai ChiIntroductory Beginner Classes held Tuesdays & Thursdays from 9:00-9:45 AM, Intermediate Classes from 9:45-10:30 AM, and Advanced Classes from 10:30-11:15 AM.  Participants can expect to improve their balance, flexibility, strength, coordination, and concentration, all while enjoying a pain free, calming, and relaxing activity.  Instructor: Mary Pope Cost:$5.00 per class paid directly to the instructor.

Walking Club – Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00-10:00 AM, weather permitting. Meet at the flag pole near the entrance of the center for a ½ mile to 1 mile walk.  Free.

Billiards Room – Pool tables available Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 4:00 PM.

Ping Pong every Monday, Thursday & Friday from 2:00-3:45 PM.

Corn Hole every Wednesday from 1:00-2:30 PM.

⚬ Wii Bowling – An active bowling video game. Easy to learn and fun to play and great exercise! Mondays from 9:30 AM - Noon.

Dancing

Our ballroom is currently closed due to construction.

EDUCATIONAL & OTHER ACTIVITIES

Free Blood Pressure Screenings offered monthly. Please contact the center for specific dates.

CARDS & MISCELLANEOUS GAMES

All card games have been suspended until further notice due to COVID-19.

Rental Fees

The Senior Center is available to rent during non-programmed hours.

$30.00 per hour (2-hour minimum) with maximum capacity being 50
