Youth Football

Parks & Rec offers one coed flag football league and three tackle football leagues for ages 6-12. See below for more information on the leagues offered and how to register.

Flag Football (Boys & Girls Ages 6-12)

  • Games will be played on Sunday afternoons at the Everett Athletic Complex beginning September 13, 2026 and will continue for 7 weeks. We are tentatively planning to take off October 3, 2026 for Fall Break.
  • Children will practice 2 times per week prior to the start of the season.  Once the season begins, only 1 practice will be held per week on Sundays prior to games.
  • Age groups are subject to change due to enrollment. Groups are tentatively set as 6-8, 9-10 & 11-12.
  • Children are placed on teams according to an evaluation and their age as of September 1. Ages 9-12 are drafted. Participants will be notified of evaluation date and time as soon as determined.
  • ‍Mouth guards and shorts with no pockets are required.

$93.00 includes game jersey
An optional picture package is available for $18 extra if purchased at time of registration, $20 if purchased day of pictures.

Tackle Football (Boys & Girls Ages 7-12)

  • Game Admission: Ages 18 & up $5.00 per person
  • Spring practice is held February through April.⚬ Fall practice begins mid-July.

Registration

Late January and mid-June depending on availability (teams can take up to 35 players).  Please watch for team advertisements in the Sports Section of The Daily Times and on social media.

Season

Jamborees are normally scheduled in early August with the season beginning the following week. The Super Bowl, which concludes the season, date is TBD. Gates will open at 8:00 AM.
