SOCCER FOR BOYS & GIRLS

Parks & Rec. offers two youth soccer seasons each year; in the spring and fall. Registration for spring league is normally taken the entire month of February, with the season beginning the first of April and continuing for 6 weeks. Registration for fall league is normally taken the entire month of July, with the season beginning in September and continuing for 7 weeks. Two programs are offered, Soccer for Fun for 4 year-olds and Youth Soccer for Ages 5-16 (please see additional information regarding each league below).

Due to inclement weather and field conditions, all games scheduled for Saturday, September 28th have been cancelled. HOWEVER, TEAM PICTURES WILL BE TAKEN FOR THOSE SCHEDULED (see schedule below). Make-up dates and times for cancelled games will be announced at a later date.

Soccer for Fun (For 4 Year Olds)

Soccer for Fun is a fundamental, non-competitive approach to the game of soccer and a great way to introduce your child to this popular sport. Children are randomly divided into groups and will be involved in drills in addition to playing small-sided scrimmage games for one hour one day per week for 6 weeks. Shin guards are required. Limited space available!

Registration Dates

July 1 – August 9, 2024 Registration extended!

Beginning Date

Season will tentatively begin September 14, 2024 and will continue for 6 weeks.

9:00-10:00 AM on Saturdays

$78.00 includes game jersey
+ $18.00 for pictures which is totally optional,
$20.00 if purchased the day of pictures

Youth Soccer (Ages 5-16)

Be a part of the world's most popular sport! Youth soccer is an excellent way to develop motor skills. This program is available for boys and girls Ages 5-16 and will include "all-girls/all-boys" leagues through Age 12. Each participant will play in every game. Ages 5-6 will play "small-sided" soccer.

⚬ Children will practice 1-2 times per week, which tentatively begins several weeks prior to the season, at an area park.
⚬ Children are placed on teams according to their age (as of April 1 in the spring and as of September 1 in the fall) and their school.
⚬ Children Ages 5-12 will be placed on an all-boys/all-girls team. Ages 13-16 play co-ed.
⚬ Ages 5-6 will play "small-sided" soccer.
⚬ Shin guards are required.
